I've had the opportunity to work in an array of industries including Higher Education, Public Relations, Sustainable Materials, Insurance, Sales, Finance and Customer Service. I relocated from my home state Missouri to Atlanta, Georgia in 2008, where I am currently located. However, I am looking forward to spreading my skills across city and state lines.
My passions, both professionally and personally, are to push the envelope, promote community engagement, and create meaningful messages. I have an endless need to learn and grow. I work for what I believe in and believe in all the work I do.

Marketing Manager, Georgia Tech Professional Education

As a full-time Marketing Manager, I enjoy building relationships with our educational divisions as I balance dual roles as a consultant and liaison, producing strategic and unique marketing collateral (both traditional and digital) to drive in enrollments and greater division brand awareness. As higher education moves towards more free online courses, I continue to stay abreast of new marketing and communication trends.
NEW DEVELOPMENTS: I seek out new processes and campaigns that drive up student engagement and revenue. More recently, I've lead the marketing strategy for the Institutes first Professional Master's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Through an integrated marketing plan that spans communications, both digital and traditional marketing tactics, along with constant analysis of campaign results, I'm excited to share that for first cohort of over 20 students is ready to start August 2017. All from only five months of promotional efforts.

At MSL Atlanta, my role was dedicated to daily reporting on pitched articles for clients including Home Depot, Waste Management and DAP Products. I was fast-tracked in the PR arena where I learned how to pitch, who to pitch and the complexity of reporting after the pitch.
Marketing Coordinator, Call2Recycle
September 2008 - July 2011
After relocating to Atlanta, GA, from my home state Missouri. I decided to start contracting. At Call2Recycle, I came on as a contracted Office Administrator and soon moved into the Marketing Coordinator role. My dutes included an array of cross function projects including an internal newsletter and quartely company-wide training sessions to CRM database maintenance and creating executive presentation for international and domestic audiences. Call2Recyle provided me a "foot in the door" into marketing and I have yet to turn back.
NEW DEVELOPMENTS: I created he first internal newsletter that improved compay moral by highlighting indiviual and departmental achievements. I also created serveral processes including trade show lead metrics and lead generation.
